Candlelight Vigil in memory of Nicholas Naquan Heyward Jr.

Nicholas Naquan Heyward, Jr. was 13 years old when a housing police officer shot and killed him for playing cops and robbers in a stairwell in Gowanus Houses. The policeman who killed him was exonerated by the District Attorney and never faced any charges. This vigil will mark the date young Nicholas lost his life 15 years ago.
