Annual Day of Remembrance

The Annual Day of Remembrance for Nicholas Naquan Heyward, Jr. is a day that commemorates the life and honors the memory of young Nicholas Jr. on his birthday at the park that was named after him in Boerum Hill Gowanus in Brooklyn. It is an annual community event that Nicholas Jr.'s father began the year after his son was killed, and which the Foundation now helps organize. To help the Nicholas Naquan Heyward Jr. Memorial Foundation bring the spirit of joy and community to the children in the Boerum Hill community, please join us at the next Day oF Remembrance and/or donate food, toys, or funds by contacting Nicholas Heyward, Sr. (see contact info at bottom of screen).
